The mind and weight loss are closely connected. You probably know the feeling: Knowing what to eat feels simple enough.
There’s also that inner sense that resting more, drinking enough water, and moving your body would help. And yet… it’s just not working. Your body doesn’t listen, cravings take over during the day, and the scale won’t budge. You might be wondering: What’s going on? Why isn’t it working, even though I’m trying so hard?
That’s exactly the moment to pause. And take a look inside.
From my experience working with subconscious beliefs using the PSYCH-K® method, I know that weight loss often doesn’t start with food — but in the mind. And often, it’s not even about food at all. It’s about emotions, self-relationship, and internal settings.
Why Diets Don’t Work When the Mind Sabotages Us
When the body is under long-term pressure, stress, or guilt, it doesn’t feel safe. And a body that doesn’t feel safe won’t let go of a single gram. Diets based on control, restriction, and fear often trigger a cascade of emotions — guilt, failure, self-loathing.
And the subconscious is far more powerful than our conscious effort. It might be running programs like:
– If I’m skinny, no one will love me.
– If I don’t finish everything my mom puts on my plate, she’ll be disappointed.
– I don’t deserve to be slim.
Even if we don’t say these sentences out loud, they hold tremendous power in our lives.
Start noticing how you talk to yourself — about food, your body, or the mirror.
Many people carry beliefs that literally “weigh down” the body. For example:
– I have to handle everything, or I’m not good enough.
– I have to do it all alone.
– There’s no space for me, and that’s just the way it is.
These beliefs get stored deep in the body. And the body protects us. Sometimes by creating a protective layer. Not because we’re overeating — but because we may have stopped protecting ourselves in other ways a long time ago.
What all are we carrying on our shoulders?
My Personal Weight Loss Experience
I used to gain a little weight during winter due to less movement, but spring detox routines and regular activity would always fix it. Then came COVID. Movement stopped completely. I quietly gained 6 kg — and for my small figure, that was noticeable and I didn´t feel well.
And the weight wouldn’t budge — even though I was trying hard.
I tried cutting sugar for two months, intermittent fasting (16:8), regular workouts… and the scale stubbornly stayed the same.
It was infuriating.
I had to admit: I needed a different approach. I had to look at weight gain from another angle. I started listening to what my body was telling me. What it needed. And what I had been suppressing for a long time.
It wasn’t an overnight change. I had to allow myself to live what I felt was my purpose. And that took some time.
But one day — almost effortlessly (compared to everything I’d tried before) — all the weight was gone. And the joy I felt when I saw it on the scale… was immense.
Let me be clear: PSYCH-K® isn’t a magic fix. Subconscious rewiring is a crucial step, yes — but it’s not enough by itself. Real-life action is just as important.
The good news? Those actions become much easier when your subconscious isn’t tripping you up.
Mind and Weight Loss: Rooted in Self-Connection, Not Diets
When dysfunctional subconscious programs are released, the body stops resisting. Tension fades, inner pressure eases, and the need for emotional compensation lessens. There’s more space for natural movement, a craving for nourishing food, and greater self-awareness.
With clients, I work with supportive sentences such as:
– I release everything that no longer serves me.
– I allow myself to be light.
– I trust my body.
– I love every cell of my body.
These are just examples — each one is tailored to the individual client’s needs.
And this inner shift? It inevitably starts showing on the outside.
