PSYCH-K®: FAQ

What are the most frequently asked questions about the PSYCH-K® method?

On this page, you will find answers to the most frequently asked questions about the PSYCH-K® method and my work with the subconscious mind. If you are considering a session or are curious about how subconscious work functions, start here.
PSYCH-K® is a simple and effective method for working with subconscious beliefs that can influence our behavior and decision-making.

What is PSYCH-K® and How does it work?

PSYCH-K® works by helping to change subconscious beliefs that influence our behavior, experiences, and decision-making. Using simple procedures, it reduces the body’s stress response and creates space for a new, supportive mindset.

PSYCH-K® operates on the principle of rewriting subconscious beliefs that influence our daily behavior. It utilizes the connection between body, mind, and soul—using simple procedures to help reduce the stress response and create a new, supportive mindset. Everything is designed so that the change begins to manifest in a person’s everyday life.

PSYCH-K® is based on how the brain functions, the stress response, and the brain’s ability to change based on experience. It is not a scientific method in the clinical sense, but a practical approach that utilizes these principles.

Subconscious beliefs are internal settings that influence how we react, what we think, and how we make decisions. They mostly originate in the past and operate automatically without our conscious awareness. They are often formed very early—as early as the prenatal period or early childhood—and continue to influence us well into adulthood.

PSYCH-K® works at the subconscious level, where our automatic reactions and behavioral patterns originate. Often, we are not even aware of where these patterns come from. Unlike traditional therapy or coaching, PSYCH-K® does not focus on lengthy analysis of situations, but rather on rewriting what truly drives them in the background.

Both PSYCH-K® and kinesiology use muscle testing, but they differ in how they work with it. PSYCH-K® is focused on changing subconscious beliefs through specific procedures, whereas kinesiology encompasses a broader spectrum of techniques aimed at the body and other areas.

Session process

A PSYCH-K® session takes place in several steps. At the beginning, we clarify the topic you are coming with and establish what you want to change. Subsequently, we work together to create new supportive beliefs.

The work itself is conducted using a muscle test, which serves to communicate with the subconscious. During an in-person meeting, we work directly with your body; during an online session, the testing is done by proxy through me. The effect is the same in both cases.

In the next part, the “uploading” of new beliefs into the subconscious occurs. We conclude the session with specific action steps that help transfer the change into everyday life.

60 – 90 minutes.

The number of PSYCH-K® sessions cannot be precisely determined, as it depends on the specific topic and each individual’s personal setup. Some changes may occur quickly, while others require more time. The subconscious mind’s readiness for change also plays an important role.

During the work with the subconscious, we use muscle testing, which serves to communicate with the subconscious mind. Through this, we identify how your body reacts to the given topic, and subsequently, using PSYCH-K® processes, dysfunctional subconscious beliefs are changed.

You will usually recognize the change by reacting differently to situations than before—with less stress, more calm, or greater confidence. Often, the things that used to trigger you will change as well.

Some changes are noticeable immediately after the session, while others manifest gradually in everyday life. It is important to observe specific situations where your reactions are shifting.

Before the session, think about the topic or area of life you want to address. It is not necessary to have everything precisely formulated—we will clarify the goal together at the beginning of the session.

That doesn’t matter at all. It is not necessary to have a precisely formulated topic—at the beginning of the session, we will clarify together what is bothering you and what you want to change. Often, it is enough to describe recurring situations or feelings, and we will take it from there.

PSYCH-K® works with the same results in both in-person and online sessions. The only difference is the format—during online work, the muscle test is conducted by proxy through me; otherwise, the process and effect remain the same.

At the end of each session, we will agree on specific action steps that help transfer the change into your everyday life. These are an important part of the process and support the new mindset so that it truly manifests in practice.

Topics you can work with

PSYCH-K® can assist in various areas of life where subconscious beliefs influence us. Most commonly, it addresses topics such as self-confidence, fears, relationships (both personal and professional), communication challenges, relationship with food and the body, abundance, or internal blocks.

It is possible to work with specific situations as well as recurring behavioral patterns that a person wishes to change.

Yes, PSYCH-K® can also be used with children, usually from approximately 7 years of age. The work is conducted in a simpler form and always with regard to the child’s age and current situation.

With younger children, I work through the parents, who are a natural part of the entire process.

Yes, PSYCH-K® can be used when working with fears and phobias (fear of heights, spiders, driving, etc.). It focuses on the subconscious beliefs and the stress response associated with the given fear.

The goal is not to “suppress” the fear, but to change the way you react to the situation.

After a single session regarding a lifelong fear of heights, a client was able to handle situations that were previously unthinkable for them.

The client wrote to me:

“It looks like it’s working. Before, I couldn’t even watch videos on my phone of people doing parkour on tall buildings; after the session with you, I can, it doesn’t affect me at all. I climbed up onto scaffolding about 5 meters high and walked around freely, which also would have bothered me before. I went to a skyscraper in Vienna and at about the 18th floor—roughly 70 meters up—I stood by the window and looked straight down; again, it did nothing to me, whereas before it would have been unthinkable.”

Safety and expectations

PSYCH-K® is considered a safe method for working with the subconscious. At the beginning of each session, we use muscle testing to verify whether a new belief is safe and appropriate for the individual.

The work is conducted with respect for each person’s current setup and internal boundaries. The session is not a substitute for medical care.

Change can manifest at different speeds depending on the topic and each person’s individual setup. Some changes are noticeable immediately after the session, while others manifest gradually in everyday situations.

It is important to observe your specific reactions and behavior in daily life, as that is where the change is best demonstrated.

PSYCH-K® does not replace psychotherapy or medical care. It is a supportive personal development method that can complement other approaches. In the event of health or psychological difficulties, it is always advisable to consult a qualified professional.

If the PSYCH-K® method appeals to you, you can arrange a session or write to me —I would be happy to discuss with you whether it is suitable for you at this time.
